William Lee Abbe was the husband of Margie Nell Hall, married 24 Feb. 1951. The father of Maury Lynn, Devin Lee and Mark Abbe. He was the son of William Ralph Abbe and Gladys Foster.
He served in the U. S. Navy from 1950-1954, serving aboard the U.S.S. Antietam and the U.S.S. Philippine Sea.
He was a graduate of North Texas State University, Denton, Texas.
He was employed by Moore Business Forms, Inc for 33 years, where he retired in 1990.
Lee and Margie enjoyed spending time with their grandson, Todd Alan Abbe.
They also enjoyed traveling in their motor home.
Lee fought a hard battle with cancer for 22 years, and the last 12 taking treatments. He lost that battle in 2002. He is missed by his wife and sons, daughter-in-laws and grandson.
