Wife of Gordon Runyon

Mrs. Sarah Agnes Runyon. widow of Gordon Runyon died this morning at 10:15 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. N. H. Hurd, in the Altoona. following an extended illness from infirmities of age, she being 83. She had been practically helpless for about two years, and for several days before the end her death had been expected.

Funeral service will be conducted, from the home where she died Wednesday morning at 10. after which the body will lie taken to the Runyon graveyard, near Shiloh, for interment.

The deceased was a native of North Carolina, but more then half of her life had been spent hereabouts.

Her husband died in 1915.

She is survived: by these children: Mrs. N. H. Hurd and Charles Runyon, Pulaski; Mrs, T. J. Van Derrift, Huntington; W. Va.; Mrs J. C. May of Allisonia. and William Runyon, St Paul. Va.

She had made her home with Mrs. Hurd for the past three years. She was a member of the Christian church for a number of years and Christian woman.
