Miss Dorothy Louise Everlina Anna Queen Blagmon, 74, of Chance, VA died Friday, May 15, 1987, at District Nursing Home in Waynesboro, VA.

Daughter of Torsey "Smith" Blagmon & Esther Blagmon.

Miss Blagmon studied at Howard University's school of music. An accomplished musician, she had sung at the White House during the terms of three Presidents. At the nursing home where she resided, she served as pianist for it's church.

She was formerly associated with Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Arlington, VA and was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Supply, VA at her death.

She traveled extensively in 41 states, Mexico and Canada.

Survivors include four brothers, Charles R. Blagmon of Washington D.C., Fred O. Blagmon of Baltimore MD, Edolph E. Blagmon of Philadelphia, PA and Leonardus D. Blagmon of Chance, VA; a sister, Mrs. Mary A. Jackson of Philadelphia, PA; and a number of nieces and nephews in the Fredericksburg area.

A funeral servics was held at Ebenezer Baptist Church with the Rev. C.L. Matthews officiating.

Burial at the Ebernezer Baptist Church Cemetery.

Washington Funeral Home in Tappahannock handled arrangements.
