Services for Ruth Brookfield, 84, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and formerly of Olney, will be in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olney with Rev. Fathers Bill Rowe and Jim Buerster presiding. Visitation will be in Summers Funeral Home with the Holy Rosary. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Mrs. Brookfield was born in Richland County Nov. 11, 1900, the daughter of Peron and Maude (Spangler) Snively.
She married Elmer Brookfield June 16, 1931, and he preceded her in death June 12, 1978.
She operated a beauty shop in Olney for several years and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Survivors include a brother, Bernard Snively, Lawrenceville; two sisters, Leona Snively, Ft. Lauderdale; Mrs. Mary Redfern, Lawrenceville; and several nieces and nephews.
