He was a self-employed truck driver and an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of Espiritu Santo Catholic Church, Safety Harbor. Survivors include his wife, Karen; three sons, Kevin and Justin, both of Oldsmar, and Keith, Herndon, Va.; his parents, Carmela and Philip Sr., Safety Harbor; and two sisters, Lynn Fieldson, Palm Harbor, and Donna Certosimo, Mechanicsville, Va.
