Jack was an Aggie. Always an Aggie.
Jack, an eligible bachelor married single mother of three, Thelma Gandy Wade. He went on to win over each of the children. Jack's step-daughter Cindy's recollections of Jack include him sitting on the couch in the livingroom helping her with her 6th grade math, which she had no aptitude for. Jack would smile and say, "Think, girl-- you can DO this! THINK!"
He had patience and wit, and kindness beyond measure. A real Texas man-- his favorite game was golf. He was a well known attorney in Austin with countless friends. He died without a wealth of money but with a sea of friends and people he had helped with little or no regard for large sums of money.
His death was sudden and unexpected. His daughter Cindy never got over it. He will always be Cindy's treasure and comfort. He could not have been loved more had he been her biological father and he will never, NEVER be forgotten.
I love you still,
Cindy
