He was born May 22, 1946, in Amsterdam, N.Y., and was a 21-year resident of Nevada. Fred was a retired computer operator and served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion. Fred is survived by his wife, Arlene Barczak; sons, James, Michael and Robert Barczak; mother, Helen Barczak; and four grandchildren. Visitation will be 1-7 p.m. Monday, April 12, at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Graveside services will be at 10:40 a.m. Tuesday, April 13, at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, in Boulder City.
