Daughter of Mortimer Southgate Clark and Mary Ann Tompley/Thomley Clark. Some documents show her name to be Texas Anna Mexico Clark. Married Benjamin Franklin Adams in Catahoula Parish February 21, 1872 and was the mother of seven children: Mary Ina, Benjamin Jefferson, James Henry, Eliza Jane, Bertha Mae, Minnie and Virgie Henretta "Ettie". One other child is indicated in her husband's obituary.
