According to Huxford's Pioneers of Wiregrass Georgia vol 2 p 192-3, "...Thomas Mathis...was married in November 1st, 1826, to Eady (sometimes spelled "Edith") Register, a daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth Register (Vol 1). She was born in Bulloch County; she was born Feb. 1 1809...Mrs. Eady Mathis died Feb 10, 1869, at her parents' home in Clinch County, white on a visit to see he ailing father who died two months later. Her illness was short, and was due to pneumonia. She was buried at Wayfare Primitive Church."
Huxford's, vol 3 p 480 Additions, "... received into Pleasant Church, Feb. 20, 1841, and were dismissed by letter, March 1852."
Huxford's, vol 4 p 365 Additions, "...Thomas...and his wife,Eady, were received into Empire Church, April 21, 1855, by letter from Emmaeus (Flat Creek) Church in present Berrien County."
