Born Aug. 7, 1954, in Johnson County, he was the son of thelate Walter and Bessie Powers Fitzpatrick.
He was a disabled mechanic and a member of the Pleasant Home Baptist Church in Prestonsburg.He was preceded in death by a daughter, Randa Fitzpatrick;two brothers,George and Ronald Dean Fitzpatrick; and a sister,Betty Carol Fitzpatrick.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy Slater Fitzpatrick; two sons, Travis Fitzpatrick of Prestonsburg and Willie Fitzpatrick, of Warsaw, Ind.; a daughter, Paula Fitzpatrick,of Warsaw; six brothers, David Fitzpatrick of Clay PoolInd., Walter C. Fitzpatrick Jr. of Johnson County, and John Wallace Fitzpatrick, Ben Fitzpatrick and Charlie Fitzpatrick, all of Warsaw; two sisters, Stella June Bentley of Warsaw and Diana Webb of Prestonsburg; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday, May 12, at Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home with Mark Tackett officiating.
Burial was in Bentley Cemetery, East Point.
