Agnes D. Channel, age 74 of Ellamore, WV died Monday, April 12, 2010 at Mt. Carmel West Hospital in Columbus, OH. She was born December 7, 1935 in Hall, WV, a daughter of the late Albert J. and Letha Harris Shreve. On January 18, 1958 she married Orval S. Channel, Who survives. Also surviving is a son, John Edward Channel, a daughter, Pam Channel, grandson Chad Channel; grandaughter Chelsea Channel and sister Mary Pratt. She was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Fallen. Mrs. Channel was a homemaker and Methodist by faith. She was a member of the Buckhannon VFW Post #3663 Ladies Aux. A former member of the Strawberry Pairs. She was a huge WV Fan and meeting Da'Sean Butler after her heart attack was a special moment in her life. Also she was a special grandmother to her grandchildren. Friends will be received Friday, April 16, 2010 from 5-8 PM at the Poling-St.Clair Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11 AM Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jimmy Russell officiating. Burial will follow in the Buckhannon Veterans Cemetery.
