William H. Tindall of Algansee, Michigan; was the youngest son of Andrew Tindall and Pricilia Bishop Tindall.

William Tindall, as well as his brothers Jonathan and Joseph Tindall enlisted on August 24, 1861 in Algansee, Michigan. They all enlisted in Company B, Michigan's 11 th Infrantry Regiment. Same enlistment date, same regiment. He was Promoted to a Full Corporal on August 29, 1863.

Corporal William Tindall a Prisoner at the Andersonville Confederate Prison of War Camp passed away on September 20, 1864 of scorbutus.

Corporal William Tindall was survived by his mother Pricilia Tindall; His sister's Catherine Tindall Debois, Mary ann Tindall Dodge; and brothers Peter Tindall, Andrew Tindall, George Tindall, Joseph Tindall, Jonathan Tindall all of Algansee, Michigan.
