Wayne Lee Scharenbroch, 48, passed away Saturday, April 3, 2010, in the Town of Meeme, following injuries sustained in a bicycle accident.
Wayne was born February 23, 1962 in Sheboygan to Lawrence and LaVerne Scharenbroch.
He graduated from Kiel High School in 1980.
Following graduation, he enlisted into the United States Army serving four years.
He was then employed by the Kohler Co. in Pottery, and later transferred to Generator.
On August 7, 1992 he married Michelle Landry in Manitowoc.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Howards Grove, where he ushered, taught Sunday School, and was a former member of the Men's Club.
He was devoted to his children and loved spending time with all of his family. He was a die hard Green Bay Packer fan, and an avid bike rider. He enjoyed music, cutting wood, bow hunting, watching Kiel area sporting events, and eating ice cream. He volunteered his time with St. Vincent DePaul and United Ministries. He was always a hard worker and was there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
In addition to his wife, Michelle, he is survived by his children, Zachariah Lawrence Scharenbroch of Sheboygan, Jessica Renee Scharenbroch of School Hill, and Joshua Lee Scharenbroch of School Hill. He is also survived by his parents, Lawrence and LaVerne Scharenbroch of Newton; his brothers and sister, Peter (Gloria) Scharenbroch of St. Nazianz, Carl (Nancy Jo) Scharenbroch of Janesville, Dale (Kim) Scharenbroch of Valders, Tim (Brenda) Scharenbroch of Portage, Jerry (Jill) Scharenbroch of Newton, Jeffrey (Karice) Scharenbroch of Manitowoc, Kieth (Sherri) Scharenbroch of Newton, and his sister, Beth Ann (Scott) Woepse of School Hill. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Betty Scharenbroch; his father- and mother-in-law Edward (Phyllis) Landry; his brother-in-law, Todd (Brenda) Landry; and his sister-in-law, Lisa (Andrew) Seefeldt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Scharenbroch.
Funeral Services for Wayne will be held Friday, April 9, 2010, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Howards Grove. The Reverend Darrel Bergelin, Pastor, will officiate. Private burial services will be at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.
