Mr. Herman D Ballew, 80, of Newport died Wednesday April the 14th at Little Rock Hospice.
He fought a courageous battle and his strength will never be forgotten. He loved Newport and it was his home for 79 years. Jesus was the center of dads life and he was of the Pentecostal faith.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Irene Ballew, his mother and father, 3 brothers, and two sisters and son in law, Les Green.
He is survived by his son Jim Ballew and wife Joyce of Tuscaloosa, AL and daughter, Barbara Green of North Little Rock, AR. 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson.
Interment was at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
