It has been linked that his father was William Evans b. 1750 to 1801 (born in Limerick PA and died in Orange Cty, NC) mother was Margaret Davis b. 1750s d. 1820s and her father was Enoch Davis . William Evans (father) was born to George Evans 1702-1761 (born in Limerick PA) and Elizabeth Kendall 1712-1787. There were other children to William and Margaret (William, Samuel, Betsy, Catey and Susanna).
