FLOYD MARBAUGH TAKEN BY DEATH
Services Thursday for Blue Creek Twp. Carpenter
Floyd Franklin Marbaugh, 61, Blue Creek Township carpenter, died about midnight Monday night at the Veteran's hospital in Fort Wayne. He had been in failing health for five years and in critical condition for the past six months.
He was born in Adams County, Oct. 18, 1894, a son of Henry and Margaret Meyers Marbaugh. He had never married.
Mr. Marbaugh, a veteran of World War I, was a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Surviving are a brother, Fred Marbaugh, of Blue Creek Township, and two sisters, Mrs. Arthur Baker of Decatur and Mrs. Ed Rosswurm of Warsaw. One brother and two sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Black Funeral Home in Decatur, the Rev. Benj. D. Thomas officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery.
