Grave Stone is to honor Troy's life and our memories of him... he is not buried at that site. His ashes were scattered. This, as a result of a seemingly odd, and out-of-context remark/directive Troy made to his Mom (in the company of a close friend), years earlier. Troy said: 'Oh, yeah, Mom... and by the way'... he casually said that when he died he wanted to be cremated and his ashes "scattered at the ranch, front pasture". Then he added, "Do I need to write this down somewhere?" In 1984 we had to honor his request.
