Charleston - Mrs. Florence Nolen, 81 years old, died Friday at the hospital in Sikeston. Born July 25, 1885, in Tennessee, she had lived in Mississippi County for 34 years.
Mrs. Nolen was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin A. Black. She was married to Frank Parker Nolen, who died in 1926.
Survivors include three sons, Alferd Nolen, John Nolen and Wm. Nolen; four daughters, Mrs. Frank Riley, Mrs. Robert Vines, Mrs. Walter Vines and Mrs. Charles Manker; two brothers, Mathie Black and Robert Black and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at the McMikle Funeral Home Sunday. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
Buried between Charles Edward & William Howard Nolen and Alfred B Nolen.
