Services were held at First Baptist Church officiated by Rev. W.H. Townsend, of Austin, former pastor of Olney. He had been a member of the Baptist Church since childhood and member of the Masonic Lodge No. 708.
Survived by his wife; six children - Mrs. J.W. Covington, Mrs. P.J. Hulse, Mrs. L.O. Haygood, Mrs. L.E. McCaghren, T.Q. Eustace, L.E. Eustace; two sisters - Mrs. Lora Reed and Mrs. Omie Hess; one half-brother - Joe Eustace; 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
