Opeal Beatrice (Boze) Willams was born the daughter of Kenny Adler Boze and Elsie (Smith) Boze on September 5, 1925 in Alton,Missouri,and departed this life March 22,2010 at her home near Koshkonong,Missouri,at the age of 84 years.She was united in marriage July 13,1940 at Salem,Arkamsas to James Carl Willams who preceded her in death March 3,1976.She is survived by five children;James D"Jim"Willams and wife,Ann of Alton,Missouri,Bobby Wayne Willams and wife,Gloria of Imperial,Missouri,Patsy Threlkeld and husband,Robert of Pomona,Missouri,JoAnn Andrews and husband,Carl Dean of Koshkonong,Missouri and Debra Lynn Day and husband,Charles of West Plains,Missouri,twelve grandchildren,Michael Willams,Tammy Barry,Michelle Pendergrass,Billy Willams,Lori Willams,Jane ,Robin,Deuce and Lucas Threlkeld,Shana Perez,Jason Adams and Deana O'Leary;twenty-two great-grandchildren,other relatives and many friends.She was preceded in death by her parents,her husband,two sons,Danny and Bennie Willams;one granddaughter,Candi Andrews;four sisters;Lucy Bates,Ellen Johnson,Maude Harper and Joie Frost and one infant sibling.Mrs.Willams along with her husband,Carl owned and operated the Mobil and Sincliar Service Station in Alton,Missouri,for many years.She was an avid gardener and talented cook.She will be remembered for delicious meals she prepared for her family and famous for her chicken and dumplings.Her favorite past time was watching the cooking channel with her great-granddaughter,Lynsey.Opal will truly be missed by her family,her many friends and the community in which she lived.Funeral services will be held at 2pm Friday,March 26,2010 in the Carter Funeral Home Chapel.Family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00PM at the funeral home.Burial will be in the Bailey Cemetery near Alton,Missouri with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home,Inc of Thayer,Missouri
