Jerry was the son of Cagail Edward and Nellie Mae Hill Drake. He married Rita Helms in Hunstville, Arkansas on Aug. 02, 1962, who is a life-long best friend to Linda, memorial manager. Jerry's love of fishing led to the formation of the Ozark Bass Anglers Association. He operated the same for 11 years. His profession was Drake's Mobile Home Transportation for 30 years. Besides his wife, he is survived by five children; Marla Joyner and husband David of Cave Springs, Ark; Timothy of Colcord, Ok; Kendall and wife Angela of Colcord, Ok; James 'Jimmy' and wife Jeniece of Elm Springs; Rodger Linn and wife Melanie of Bella Vista; two brothers, Larry of Rogers and Ernest 'Ike' Drake of Huntsville, Ark; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Jerry was a Baptist. His interment was Tuesday, 20 Arpil 2010 in the White Oak Cemetery of Washington County, Arkansas. He was laid to rest beside a long list of Drake family members.
