Obituary
Madline Roberson, Born Sept. 17, 1900; died May 18, 1909; age 8 years, 8 months and 1 day; daughter of R. G. and Lucy Roberson.
Madeline was sick nearly 5 weeks. She was the most patient little sufferer I ever knew. She was a bright, sweet little girl. She was always at her place in Sunday School and day school. She was a bright sweet little girl. She was always at her place in Sunday School and day school. She was so good to take medicine during her illness. Loving hands did all for her that could be done, but all efforts failed. On the morning of the 18th, her little spirit left the body and went to God who gave it, and the body, after the funeral, was kindly laid away in the Rock Spring cemetery to await the resurrection morn.
She leaves father, mother, 2 brothers and 5 sisters to mourn their loss with other near relatives and friends. We hope they will not weep as those who have no hope, for their loss is Madline's eternal gain.
She was preceded to the better world by a little sister and brother. She has made the happy exchange in giving up an earthly home and loved ones here, for a home at God's right hand in heaven, where she has joined the great host of little children who are viewing around the great white throne of God, in singing the wonderful songs of redemption. To loving friends: You can go to her but she cannot come to you.
