Graveside services for Mr. George "Buck" English, 75, were held at 3 p. m. Wednesday in the Ivie Cemetery with Rev. Joe Brumbelow officiating.
Mr. English a resident of Houston, died Tuesday at his home. He was born March 28, 1899 in Houston County but had lived in Houston for the past 25 years. He was maintenance man for the Bank of the Southwest.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Rena English of Houston; two sons, Ray English and Bobby English, both of Houston; a daughter, Mrs. Bernice Bruckner of Houston; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jesse English, Henry English,Claude English, Roy English, Jiggs and Pete Bruckner.
