Colby Wayne Adams was born July 27, 1983. On Thursday, November 4, he won his battle against cancer when he peacefully departed this life. He is now cancer free.

Colby was a student at Christian Brothers University in Memphis, TN, and a graduate of De La Salle High School. He was twenty-one years old.

Colby was baptized on October 30, 1983, at St. Joseph The Worker Catholic Church in Marrero, LA. He received the Blessed Eucharist for the first time on May 11, 1991 at St. Joseph Church in Gretna, LA. He was confirmed on April 11, 1997 at St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Harvey, LA.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories: parents, Wayne and Stephanie R. Adams; a loving brother and best friend Devon Adams; grandparents, Roland and Mildred Adams, of Vacherie, LA., and Lillie Shields Robinson, of Belle Rose, LA.,; a devoted host of Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, and friends who helped him carry his cross.
