Mysterious Death
Drowning in Buffalo of a Brother of George and J. C. Suttell.
On Friday of last week the body of a man was found in the river at Buffalo, which had evidently been in the water nearly a week. In the back of the right shoulder was a cut resembling a knife stab. The body was identified Saturday by a woman living in Lancaster as a young man named Charles Suttell, who had boarded with her and who was employed in a Lancaster brick yard. He left his boarding place the Saturday previous. the remains were left at the morgue until yesterday, when John F. Ryan and George Suttell of Batavia, who had just learned of the facts, went there and found that they were those of the former's brother-in-law and the latter's brother.
The body has been taken to the family home in Java and the funeral will be held there tomorrow. The dead man was also a brother of J.C. Suttell and Mrs. H.J. Volz of Batavia. Four play is suspected, although it is announced by Buffalo physicians that death was due to drowning.
