Gravesite Details

Flora was originally entombed in the Gilbert Mausoleum in Chestnut Hill Plot, Sec 124 of the Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx NY. Upon Completion of her final resting place in Louisville, Kentucky she was moved on 9 June 1928 to Cave Hill Cemetery.

Dr. Preston Satterwhite, immediatley following the completion of the monument, contracted a professional photographer to take photos of the completed work. This is a scan of one of the original photos taken in 1928.
