"Charles A. Thompson, 62, native of Clackamas county, and a farmer of Molalla district died at home on route 2 Saturday afternoon, December 4 after an extended illness.
Born near Oregon City September 2, 1892, he had lived there all of his life until moving to Molalla in 1944. He married Mabel Ford December 23, 1920 in Vancouver Wa.
Surviving beside the widow are; son, Harley A. Thompson, Los Angeles, Calif.; daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Torrey, Battle Creek, Mich.; Mrs. Ruth Maben in Missouri, and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Everhart and Kent. Vault internment will be at Mountain View Cemetery in Oregon City"
