Mary Ann 'Polly' Harris Malone was said to be buried in Lonesome Dove Cemetery. There are many very old unreadable stones, many of native sandstone. Also many large slabs with no marks discernible. I did find a fragment with an M engraved. Either of these pictures may or may not be a part of her tombstone.
She married Perry Malone and they had eleven children, with the first 5 or 6 being born in Missouri. The rest were born in Texas.
Polly is my third great grandmother. If you are related, I'd love to hear from you.
