WILLIAM WOODINGS:
William Woodings, aged 43 years, of Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania, brother of local residents, died Saturday of pneumonia in the Veterans Hospital at Aspinwall, and the body was brought to New Castle for funeral services at 1 O'clock this afternoon in the Jos. B. Leyde mortuary.
Rev. Dr. C.B. Wingerd of the Central Presbyterian Church was in charge and after the services the body was taken to Conneautville, Pennsylvania for military services and burial.
Mr. Woodings was the son of Mrs. Margaret Shane Woodings, who is in California, and the late David Woodings. He served overseas for two years in the World War.
Surviving are his mother, three sisters; Mrs. Zack Allerton and Mrs. Donald VanHorn of New Castle and Mrs. H. L. Nichelson of Los Angeles and two brothers; Edward of Lorain, Ohio and David of Los Angeles.
