Caroline A. Vargo
ROUNDUP, MT. ----- Rosary for Caroline A. Vargo, 73, widow of Jack Vargo, will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the Wier Funeral Chapel.
She died Wednesday of cancer in the Western Manor Nursing Home of Billings, MT.
Mass will be celebrated by the Rev. Nathaniel Bourke at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the St. Benedict's Church.
Caroline was born July 30, 1902 to Edward Mattern and Anna Troendly in Henry,
Illinois.
She married John J. "Jack" Vargo in 1929.
He passed away in 1944.
She came to Roundup, MT. in 1945.
She is survived by 4 sons: John J and William F "Bill" Vargo of Roundup; Normond Edward Vargo of Ventura, Calif; and Francis E Vargo of Englewood, Calif; a daughter Mrs. Ann McConnell of Roundup; six brothers, Leo, Al, Herb, Edward, George and Herman Truendly all in Illinois; a sister Sister M. Sylvianne who works in a hospital in Santa Barbars, Calif; and 4 grandchildren.
Burial will be in the Roundup Cemetery, Roundup, MT.
