Edward Nelson Cox was born August 28th 1901 in Nebraska City, Nebraska to Nelson and Fannie May (Wesner)Cox.

Nelson and Fannie also had a daughter, Marie Frances Cox who died as a child.....(Memorial# 110619576)

Edward's father died in 1906 and his mother remarried to Mr. Ernest L. Kroeger (Find A Grave Memorial# 67847827)
on December 26th, 1907, in Logan county, Oklahoma. Fannie and Ernest had two children, Bernard and Arthur Kroeger.

Edward married Edith Jeanette Smith on October 1, 1924, in Guthrie, Oklahoma. They had two children during their marriage; Lloyd Elmer and Louis Nelson.

Ernest L. Kroeger was Edward's step-father, however, he raised Edward as his own son. As such this record will show them as father and son.
