Despite a large amount of information citing the death of Ulrich at Auschwitz concentration camp, Ulrich ultimately survived the Holocaust and was later able to come to the United States, naturalizing as a U.S. citizen in Brooklyn, New York on April 5, 1955. Ulrich would go on to run a travel company (Travel House of Garden City) in Garden City, Long Island, New York. Ulrich died on April 7, 1998 at 70 years old in Garden City, New York.
