Alexander Darwson, Sr., served in the C.S.A., GA Regiment. He was a gallant soldier of the Confederacy during virtually the entire period of the Civil War. As a member of a Georgia Regiment, he became one of the appreciative and valued members of that noble organization of later years, the United Confederate Veterans.
