Graduated from Randolph-Macon Womens College Class of 1926.She was a past member of the Executive Board of Virginia Federated Music Clubs. She founded church related clubs during WW II for service men and was a teacher in the Virginia Methodist Training School for youth workers.Acive member for over 35 years at the First United Mehtodist Church in Charlottesville, Virginia where her husband had served as pastor. She also served the church as an assistant to the pastor for over 20 years until her retirement. Survived by two children.
