Harlan D. Adams, 38, Batesville, Ind., died Monday, June 29, 1992 at Christ Hospital, Cincinnati.

He was born March 4, 1954 in Whitesburg, Ky., the son of Albert and Maggie Cornett Adams. His father survives. He was employed at the Batesville Tool and Tie, and was the supervisor on the second shift. He was a member of A.B.A.T.E.

On Oct. 15, 1983, he married Susan Joy Fink in the Napoleon Methodist Church, and she survives, Batesville, Ind.; with two daughters, JoDee Adams, Austin, Texas and Heather Adams, at home; six brothers, James Edward Adams, Columbus, Ohio, William Earl Adams, Port Charlotte, Fla., Floyd Adams, Napoleon, Ind., Woody Adams, St. Leon, Kenneth Ray Adams, Sunman, Ind., and Ben Adams of Greensburg; three sisters, Virginia Keller, Millhousen, Mae Vaughn, Batesville, Ind., and Sue Trent, New Point.

The Rev. Mark Vice and the Rev. Dave Blystone will conduct the services at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Nead and Clark Funeral Home in Osgood, Ind.

Burial will be in South Park Cemetery, in Greensburg.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may go to A.B.A.T.E. or to the Gideons.
