Arch Enoch Carey born 1889 in Jackson County, Missouri. Married Minnie Ramsey around 1912. He was the son of Joshua "Dock" Carey who was born in Ohio and Cordelia Waters. Arch had two brothers, John Carey and Charley Carey. He had four sisters, Cora Ann (Annie), Ida Melinda, Sarina (Reeny) and Charlotte (Lottie) all born in Missouri.
Arch and Minnie had one daughter, Virgie Savage of Texas, and five sons, Arvel, Darrell,Verner (Big Boy) of Texas, Carl Carey of Barstow, Calif and Vernon (Shorty) Carey of Boron, Calif. His wife Minnie Ramsey Carey, died in December 1942, in Pampa, Texas. He and Minnie were married on Christmas day 1912 in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
