Aggie ran "Joe and Aggies" Restaurant in Holbrook for many years before her retirement in 1978.
She is survived by daughters, Mary Gabaldon and Alice (Stanley) Gallegos, both of Holbrook; brothers, Fidencio Tafoya and Pete (Katy) Tafoya, Jr., both of Holbrook; sister, Annie (Gene) Gabaldon, of Holbrook; 18 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-laws, Esther Montano, of Tucson, Eleanor Montano, of Holbrook; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe; sons, Armando and Johnny, as well as four brothers.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., with the Recitation of the Rosary to begin at 7:00 P.M. Monday, April 26, 2010 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. The Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will begin 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will be at the Holbrook Cemetery.
