March 5, 1915
Several from here attended the funeral of Mr. Nathan Coulter, of Ringgold, but formerly and for many years an esteemed citizen of Wood Station, at Wood Station last Friday. Mr. Coulter died from an acute attack of pneumonia Wednesday the 17th inst. He leaves a wife, five daughters and two sons, and a countless number of relatives and friends to mourn this sad dispensation of God's providence. His life, to the writer from precept and example was such as to enable him to obtain the great promise of eternal life, and we believe that he has gained entrance through the gates into the temple and city of our God. Mr Coulter was laid to rest at Bethel, near his old home, by the Masonic fraternity, Wood Station Lodge of which he was a member in charge, assisted by members of several other lodges.
