Eugene E. Glover passed away Friday, March 12, 2010, in Cleburne, Texas. He was born to Frank J and Florence Glover in Lubbock, Texas on March 11, 1929.

He married Betty Aten in 1950 in Hobbs, N.M. Eugene spent his lifetime serving as a firefighter and his latter years as a firefighter and paramedic. He retired in 1982 as a lieutenant. He and his wife, Betty, celebrated 60 years of marriage and had three children and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Monday March 15, at the Clayton Kay Vaughan Funeral Home, Alvarado, Texas.
Service: 2 p.m. Tuesday March 16, Clayton Kay Vaughan Funeral Home, Alvarado, Texas.
Pallbearers: Wesley Monger, Kenny Monger, C.W. Wright, Rusty Schulz, Jim Loftin and Stephen Ward.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank J Glover and Florence (White) Glover; son, Stevie Glover; two brothers; and seven sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Glover of Cleburne, Texas; daughters, Linda Ward and husband, Michael, of Jonesville, S.C., Dorinda Wright and husband, Robert, of Alvarado; grandchildren, Wesely and Sleena Monger, James Davis, Kenny and Kelly Monger, Natasha Davis, Kyla and J Lee, C.W. Wright, Stephen Ward, Cassidy Wright and Faylene Wright; great grandchildren, Christina Monger, Randy Monger, Breanne Hays, Emma Hays, Holly Monger, Jessy Monger, Jayla Lee and Jayson Lee; and brother, Grady Glover.
