He was born Feb. 3, 1896, in Canton, a son of Isaac L. and Ida (Haines) Cadwalader. He married Vera Linn, Feb. 19, 1916, in Keokuk, Iowa. She survives.
Other survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Dwight (Eileen) Beaty of Oneida; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; four step-great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Ernest (Ruby) Cleer of Creve Coeur; and Mrs. James (Garnet) Lingenfelter of Canton.
He was a retired farmer of Orion Township and was a Purebred Poland China Breeder for more than 50 years. He was a member of the Fulton County Farm Bureau and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Church, rural Canton.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Murphy-Sedgwick Memorial Home, the Rev. Frank Beaty officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the memorial home.
A memorial fund has been established.
