Christoph Battermann married Annie (Blazak)about 1904. He is the father of Grace, Leona, Joseph, Dorothy and Christopher Batterman. Chris & Annie lived in Cook Co., IL in 1910 and then moved to a farm near Nekoosa, Wood Co., WI before 1920.

Christopher H. Battermann, 92, formerly of 1000 S. Main St., died at 3:45 p.m. Thursday at Rolling Meadows.
He was born April 10, 1881, at Proviso, Ill., the son of Christopher and Anna Battermann. He married Anna Blazek on April 9, 1904, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Proviso, Ill.
Mr. Battermann farmed most of his life in the Nekoosa and Fond du Lac areas. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Brownsville.
Survivors include a son, Christopher of Bridgewater, Conn.; two daughters, Mrs. Leona Gahagan and Mrs. Dorothy Brown both of Fond du Lac; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Louise Dieckhoff of Elgin, Ill., Mrs. Clara Schultz of LaGrange, Ill., and Mrs. Dorothy Milies of Orlando, Fla.; and two brothers, William of Hillside, Ill., and Walter of Elgin, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his wife on Dec. 3, 1944, a son, daughter, grandchild, six bothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Brownsville. Pastor Pau H. Huth will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends of Mr. Battermann may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and at the church from 9 a.m. Monday until the time of services.
