Rosa Mae Adams
(July 15, 1929 - December 13, 2011)

Rosa Mae Adams, age 82, of Nicholls died at her home Tuesday Dec. 13th, 2011
after an extended illness. She was a native of Coffee County but had lived most
of her life in Bacon County. She was daughter of the late Bradley Felton Cliett
and Myrtice Tanner Cliett and was also preceded in death by her husband of 58
years, Homer Bruce Adams, a son-in-law, Barney Lewis, daughter-in-law, Sherry
Meeks Adams, three brothers, Bradley, Calvin and Jack Oscar Cliett, two sisters,
Thelma Phol, Vera Tyre and a granddaughter, Beverly Diane Adams. Rosa was a
retired school teacher and a member of Douglas Chapel Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Homer B. (Sonny) Adams, Jr. and wife Shirley of
Alma, Joel Adams and wife Vicky of Nicholls, Charles Adams of Nicholls, two
daughters, Lee Ann Lewis of Alma, Sally Belflower and husband Kannah of
Nicholls, two brothers, David Cliett of Thomasville, Frank Cliett of Pooler, a
sister, Wynell Adams of Nicholls, fourteen grandchildren, twenty three
great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren survive.

Funeral services will be held Thursday Dec. 15th at 11:00 o'clock from the
chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Campbell officiating. Interment
will follow in Meeks Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the
funeral home Wednesday evening between 6 and 9 P M.

Active pallbearers will be, Joel Adams, Jr., Glenn Keen, Barney Bruce Lewis,
Danny Holton, Charles Adams, Jr and Jason Kicklighter. Honorary pallbearers will
be; Homer Bruce Adams, III, David Roberts, Jr., Daniel Roberts, Mike Carter,
Jerry Eason, Roger Christmas, Jon Lott, Sammy Surrency, Roger and Robbie
Johnson, Richard Meeks and Ricky Disharoon.

Crosby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
