Henry "Hank", age 80, of Argyle, passed away on Saturday at Lafayette Manor, Darlington. He was born to Henry & Alma (Rear) Anderson. Hank attended Argyle Schools, graduating from high school in 1947. He served in the U.S. Army and the Wisconsin National Guard. On June 8, 1950, Hank was united in marriage to Marjorie Splinter at St. Joseph's Rectory in Argyle. Hank was a life-long farmer and the owner of "Hank's Place" in Argyle for a number of years. Hank is survived by his wife, four children, two sons, and two daughters and their husbands; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He is further survived by four step-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law; a brother-in-law; and many nephews and nieces. Hank was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Christine; two brothers, Glen and Lester; three sisters, Charlene Ethridge, Doris Zentner and Ruth Wang; four brothers-in-law, Art Ethridge, Melvin Zentner, Paul Wang and Leo Splinter; and three sisters-in-law, Anna Anderson, Alpha Anderson, and Marie Young. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, April 30, at St Joseph's Catholic Church, Argyle with the Rev. David Wanish officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Argyle. Erickson Funeral home, Argle assisted with arrangements.
