Wilma June Ownby, of Dandridge, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2006, at her home. She was born and raised in Spring Creek, NC.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Nora Mae Allison; and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband, Terry Ownby of Dandridge; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Steven Minton of Dandridge; brothers, Clarence Lunsford of West Virginia, Arnold Allison of Waynesville, NC; sister, Vina Foster of Indiana grandchildren, Sarah and Seth Minton of Dandridge. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 13 at the Manes Funeral Home Chapel in Newport, TN. Entombment followed the service at Resthaven Memorial Mausoleum. The family received friends on Friday, October 13 at Manes Funeral Home.
