WWII 1st Lt 393 AF Fighter Sq.
The body of 1st Lt. Robert G. Baer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd M. Baer, 31 W. Columbia street is to be returned soon from temporary interment in Europe for burial in the Idaville cemetery.
He is one of six from this area who gave their lives in World War II being returned aboard the Army transport Carroll Victory, the Department of the Army announced yesterday.
