William Higley, 10 year old son of Mrs. gill Higley of Rendville, died in an ambulance enroute to a hospital Friday from injuries sustained when he was struck by a car driven by Bert Rodgers of Corning. According to county officials who investigated, Higley ran into the path of the Rodgers car upon crossing the highway, near the Sam Ricketts store in Rendville The accident was held to be unavoidable.
Billy Glenn Higley was born in Rendville, January 12, 1928. His father preceded him death four years ago. Those that survive are his mother, Mrs. Ethel Higley of the home in
Rendville, one brother Raymond Higley, three half-brothers, Delmor Frasure, David Frasure and Robert Longstreth.
Burial will be in the Millertown cemetery.
