Raymond R. Steffy, 83, of Robinson, died Wednesday afternoon in Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson.
Services will be in Buchanan Funeral Home, Robinson, with Rev. Norman Lockwood presiding. Burial will follow in the new Robinson Cemetery.
Mr. Steffy was born July 2, 1902, in Hutsonville to Henry Kelly and Emma (Watson) Steffy. He married Emma Young, who survives, June 6, 1923, in Lawrenceville.
He was a self-employed painter and was a deacon at the Highland Avenue Baptist Church in Robinson.
Survivors include his wife Emma, Cotillion Nursing Home, Robinson; a son, Jerald R. Steffy, Geenfield, Wis.; a daughter, Carol Russel, Mt. Vernon; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
