He was the son of David Osmond Robison and​ Emma Jewell Averyt.∼Born in Bulcher community, the son of Mr and Mrs D.O. Robison, pioneer settlers, he lived his entire life in this area, working as Cooke County Commissioner of Precinct 4 until his sudden death from a heart attack at age 65.

Married Effie Davidson in Marietta, Oklahoma on Nov. 12, 1932.
