Mr. Wash. Fiedler Sr. who lived south of here went after the cows on a horse in the evening of Aug.3rd and not coming home by dark the children went to see where he was and found him dead about 9 o'clock near a well on the north part of the farm close by a log as though he had gotten off the horse to pump some water and in the effort to get on again died of heart failure as he had been ailing with heart trouble for some months. Another of our old respected citizens has passed away.Mr. Fidler was about 70 years old. An honest industrious man and a good neighbor. His funeral was preached in the home Aug. 4th by Rev.
