Professional Basketball Player. For eight seasons (1974 to 1982), he played at the forward and center positions in the National Basketball Association with the Milwaukee Bucks, Kansas City Kings, San Antonio Spurs and Cleveland Cavaliers. He attended Riordan High School in San Francisco and played collegiate basketball at the University of San Francisco, where he played on multiple West Coast Athletic Conference title teams. He was chosen by Cleveland during the 3rd round of the 1974 NBA Draft, but signed with Milwaukee and appeared in 76 games in his rookie season. He was a member of the 1975-1976 Bucks' team that finished first in the Midwest Division of the Western Conference, loosing to Detroit in the first round of the playoffs. While with San Antonio, he was a player on the 1980-1981 squad that posted a 52 win 30 loss record, while clinching first place in the Midwest Division of the Western Conference. They would be defeated by Houston 4 games to 3 in the Conference Semi-Finals. In 550 career regular season games, he scored 3,386 points, with 2,206 rebounds. Following his playing career, he coached basketball at the high school and youth league levels, also working as a counselor and substitute teacher.
